Understanding Enterprise Impact and Calculating Social Return on Investment Workshop (2 day workshop)

An introduction to measuring your enterprise's social return on investment.

This free (in person) two day workshop will benefit anyone seeking a robust and proportionate way to understand impact and the Social Value of their work. You will also be invited to an optional virtual workshop on day three.

Please only register if you can attend both day one and day two of the in person workshops.

Who is running this workshop?

We have partnered with the Cornwall Rural Community Charity (CRCC) and the Social Value Engine to deliver these expert-led workshops. The Social Value Engine’s Social Value UK accredited software makes it easy to create academically robust social return on investment calculations for your project.

What is the format of the workshops?

This is a small group course with limited spaces. A free lunch, and drink refreshments will be available.

Free parking is available at the venue.

  • Methods of measuring social value – intro to Social Return on Investment (SROI)

  • Theory of Change/Logic Models

Workshop Day 2 (in person)

  • Tools to calculate SROI – The Social Value Engine (SVE)

  • Proxies and other key terms to know

  • Practical activity – using the SVE with a real-life project

  • Follow up; open networking session for all participants

  • Each attendee will have the chance to meet with the expert panel for a Q&A session.

Who is eligible to register?

This event is eligible for eligible enterprises in Cornwall and the Isles Of Scilly.
