Community resilience in housing

Online conference: 22 September 2020

This autumn will see members of the Smartline team getting back out there as we emerge, blinking, from the Coronavirus lockdown.

Like many of you, we have been working hard behind the scenes but it’s fair to say that we’ve not been anywhere near as social as we usually are!

So we were delighted to accept an invitation from Housing Technology Magazine to speak at their upcoming conference on the theme of Resilient Innovation.

Mark England, Head of Innovation, Maintenance and Group Procurement, at Coastline Housing will be speaking about a project to understand the digital competency of Smartline customers, map out their technology aspirations and train them to help them reach their goals.

Mark says: “This work matters because Coastline – along with many essential services - is moving more and more services online, which results in efficiency gains, and we need to ensure people are not left behind. An important part of our social purpose is to make use of our position as landlords to help people on their life journey where we can.”
